Christmas is coming and shopping for those all important toys has begun. This year the most sought after toys seem to be New Alfa Romeo Mito cars. Cars jam packed with all kinds of gadgets, unfortunately they also have hefty price tag! Lets have a look at what?s hot this this year.
This year has seen hit movies Transformers 3 and Cars 2 and this is driving the surge of popular toys. The specification for the Cars 2 Fully Loaded McMissile includes on board missiles, a bulletproof visa and a rear mounted missile. Priced at ?40.00 it is rather expensive, especially considering that money is tight for many.
Even further up the price scale is the Tranformers 3 Mech Tech Leader at a massive cost of ?65.00! Ouch. The toy converts to a vehicle, robot and then back to a vehicle again and features blasting missile sounds. Finally, topping the scale of expensive toys is the ?Doctor Who Ride In Dalek? costing up to ?200!
When I was a child I think Christmas was more low key and I think that perhaps made it more special. Of course we all gave and received gifts but the focus of Christmas day was more concerned with good food and good company. Many people are going to be struggling this Christmas and rather than bowing to the pressure they should find an alternative way to celebrate. Making gifts for one another is much more special. Perhaps we should also take the time to look at the spiritual side of Christmas rather than the material.
